Halloween Party at Lancaster Castle

This Halloween meet Count Dracula and his guests as they visit Castle Transylvania. Count Dracula has sailed his ghost ship and docked at Lancaster Castle in the courtyard for a fang-tastic Halloween themed event to get your little ones in the mood for a startlingly good Halloween party!

Head to Lancaster Grand and see Footlights present an adaption by Jane Thornton and John Godber of the most chilling story of all time. Dracula will take you on a fast moving journey from the remote wilderness of Yorkshire to a vast ruined castle near to London. Guided Tour of Lancaster Castle

Why not take a tour around one of the UK’s most significant historic monuments?

Join knowledgeable and friendly tour guides and be taken through tales of witchcraft, religious persecution, crime and punishment, rehabilitation and release throughout the ages. You might even get to stand in the dock, raise your left hand to be sworn in, and learn the true meaning of being ‘sent down’. Halloween Workshops at Williamson Park

This October half term Williamson Park will be offering a series of Halloween themed workshops to keep the whole family entertained. Choose from Halloween hat making, designing a spider, potion making, wand creating and other fiendish fun or get your face painted.

Halloween Children’s Activities at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre

Join children’s entertainer Harvey Rush for a Spooktacular time! There’ll be Halloween themed games, dancing and magic. Prizes to be won for the best Halloween costume on the day, and all children get a free spooky slush and juice.

Family Halloween Pool Party

A fab way to celebrate Halloween with the whole family! Join Salt Ayre Leisure Centre for spooky Halloween music, themed inflatables and a blood curdling red pool. Swim for the full hour and then take part in a fancy dress competition afterwards, prize for the best costume. Free spooky slush for all children attending the event.

Shivers at the Dukes 

A trio of delightfully thrilling new ghost stories, set to the haunting sounds of the violin. Recommended for anyone aged 14 plus. Tickets: £12.50 and £11.50/Concessions £11 and £10.
