Atkinsons & Co – Tea and Coffee Specialists – Lancaster

J Atkinson & Co. have been supplying Tea & Coffee to the good citizens of Lancaster and surrounding areas since a young Queen Victoria came to the throne in 1837. The business was established in 1837 as the Grasshopper Tea Warehouse and has occupied the premises on China Street since 1901.

Pennine Way Preserves Ltd – Galgate

Manufacturers of jams and preserves, making lemon cheese, marmalade’s and fruit conserves of the highest quality. Pennine Way use only traditional methods and recipes without preservatives.

Brades Farm Diary – Lune Valley

Honeycomb Company – Galgate

Honeycomb English Honey is marketed under the Pennine Bee Farm label and this range, which is constantly being extended, includes unusual honeys and a selection of pottery items for the gift trade.

Old School Brewery – Carnforth

The Old School Brewery was founded in 2012 by Ian Walsh and Ren Wallbank. Initially something of a hobby, the brewery grew into something much more. Now delivering to a huge variety of pubs and bars across the Lancashire area, they are producing more beer now than they ever thought imaginable!

 

Stephenson’s Diary

Stephenson’s Dairy has been delivering fresh milk for over 20 years and have established a great reputation for quality and service.  Milk has always been their business and they are extremely proud to deliver a healthy, nutritious household essential to the people of Lancashire.

 

Lancaster Brewery

Lancaster Brewery has four popular beers that form their core range – Lancaster Blonde, Amber, Red and Black.  They also produce monthly specials and seasonal beers. The brewery is open for tours and as a tap house for people to come and sample a pint.

 

James Baxter & Sons – Morecambe

Seven generations of the Baxter family have been potting shrimps in Morecambe since 1799. Holders of a prestigious royal warrant since 1967, Baxter’s potted shrimps are made to a secret family recipe and have fans across the world.

 

Cockerham Salt Marsh Lamb

Their herd of sheep graze the salt marshes situated on the Lune Estuary near Cockerham, resulting in light and sweet meat. They never need to fertilise the land and the sheep are naturally raised.

 

Cockerham Goats – Cockerham

Established in 2000, this is a family run business with one of the longest running herds of pedigree meat goats. Producing only high quality goat meat, all their animals are born and reared on site.

 

Dalesbred Finest Meats – Lancaster

Traditionally reared free range beef, lamb and pork. Members of FABBL Farm Assured British Beef and Lamb which means meat is fully traceable. Also members of the countryside stewardship scheme. UK-wide wholesale is also available.
