Gym memberships and classes
Salt Ayre Leisure Centre offer a range of leisure services to help you with your long term health and fitness goals. Lancaster University have a Sports Centre featuring the very latest in top of the range sporting facilities which can be used by the public.
Facilities include a 25 metre Swimming Pool, Climbing Wall & Bouldering Cave which has been specially designed with input from renowned mountaineer and university Chancellor Sir Chris Bonington. There is also a Health & Fitness Suite, Sauna & Steam Rooms, Sports Hall with badminton Courts and Squash Courts. There is also a state-of-the art, 100 station gym. Opening Times: The Sports Centre is open seven days a week, 360 days a year. Monday to Friday 7.00am – 10.00pm, Saturday 8.30am – 6.00pm, Sunday 9.30am – 6.00pm.

Yoga and Meditation
Temple Yoga bringing yoga to the heart of Lancaster at our new home, The Herbarium. Here all teachers are qualified to teach a broad range of yoga styles, suitable for people of every age and ability. If you are new to Yoga join a beginner’s course to get in the swing of developing a regular practice. Or if you are already a budding Yogi’s head to one of the more challenging classes to develop your practice. Plus keep an eye out for exciting workshops on the last Sunday of each month there is something for everyone.

Bliss Yoga offers Hatha, Ashtanga and Dynamic Yoga classes in South Lancaster every week at Scotforth Parish Hall, Lancaster. The venue is close to both Lancaster University and the University of Cumbria and all abilities are very welcome. Private Sessions are also available on request. Plus you can enjoy various workshops which usually take place about 3 times a year.
