Lancaster On Ice
This winter something special is coming to Lancaster… The historic garden of Dalton Square will be transformed into an Ice Rink as Lancaster on Ice comes to town. So get your skating boots on and take to the ice with your loved one it will be as romantic as it looks in the movies. Whilst your there check out the Christmas markets, you are sure to feel like you’re in a winter wonderland.
Catch a show
Head to one of Lancaster’s Theatres and see a fabulous show. If you are looking for something Christmassy The Dukes have the magical Cinderella: a Fairytale on stage or head to Lancaster Grand and dive into The Little Mermaid Adult Panto and let the Christmas Chaos wash over you. There are also a range of other performances throughout the winter months which you can find on The Dukes and The Grand websites.

WINTER WREATH MAKING CLASSES Yes it's happening, Christmas is coming and I am so excited to post about this! The wonderful @ixiabotanicals will be holding a wreath making classes on the 7th December here @theherbariumbar Classes are limited to just twelve to allow 1:1 tuition and we already have bookings. — Over the course of the morning or afternoon, using both fresh and dried ingredients, Hannah-Victoria of IXIA Botanicals will show you how to make your own copper and moss-based door wreath, in her signature abundant English Garden design style. The Herbarium’s studio will be filled with fragrant herbs, including lavender and thyme, woody evergreens such as pine and spruce, textural juniper, and unusual dried cutting garden ingredients; including honesty seed heads, nigella pods and dried dumosa. Adorn your creation with hand dried fruits, pine cones and luxurious velvet ribbons. Enjoy glowing candlelight, nibbles and homemade mulled apple juice and mulled wine by The Herbarium, stationary by IXIA Botanicals, and a unique luxury wreath to take home and adorn your front door with just in time for the festivities. All floral material and tools will be provided. Cosy up for the evening in front of the fire
Pop into the Toll House Inn this was the former site of the Corporation Toll House, collecting levies from traders on their way to market in Lancaster. Here you can enjoy a well-deserved festive tipple in front of their open fire. Order yourself one of their exclusive real ales to go.
