Atkinsons & Co – Tea and Coffee Specialists – Lancaster

J Atkinson & Co. have been supplying Tea & Coffee to the good citizens of Lancaster and surrounding areas since a young Queen Victoria came to the throne in 1837. The business was established in 1837 as the Grasshopper Tea Warehouse and has occupied these premises on China Street since 1901.


Farm Yard Ales – Cockerham

Farm Yard Ales is an independent beer factory, situated on a 6th generation family farm in Cockerham, Rural Lancashire.  Using their own natural mineral water, found 51 meters (height of Nelson’s Column) below the soil, the best whole English malt is then crushed in-house to ensure it’s fresher than a penguin’s beak.  Farm Yard Ales also use the best hops on the planet and millions of them.


Pennine Way Preserves Ltd – Galgate

Lancashire-based manufacturers of jams and preserves, making lemon cheese, marmalades and fruit conserves of the highest quality. They use traditional methods and recipes without preservatives.


Brades Farm Diary – Lancaster

James Baxter & Sons – Morecambe

Seven generations of the Baxter family have been potting shrimps in Morecambe since 1799. Holders of a prestigious royal warrant since 1967, Baxter’s potted shrimps are made to a secret family recipe and have fans across the world.

Cockerham Salt Marsh Lamb – Cockerham

Their own sheep graze the salt marshes situated on the Lune Estuary at Cockerham, resulting in light and sweet meat. They never need to fertilise the land and the sheep are naturally raised.
