Brodsky Quartet Concert at The Great Hall

Lancaster Arts live classical concerts continue as part of our season on the theme of Water! We welcome back the renowned Brodsky Quartet, last heard in the Great Hall in 2017. Please join us on Wednesday 30th June to mark this long-awaited return of concerts to the Great Hall.

This evening’s programme runs from the brand new to perhaps the most famous quartet in the repertoire. Paul Cassidy’s arrangements were borne out of lockdown and are, to his knowledge, unique.

Ian Belton, Gina McCormack, Jacqueline Thomas, and Paul Cassidy formed the Brodsky Quartet in 1972. They are a rich and diverse musical presence at the forefront of the international chamber music scene, having attracted numerous awards and accolades and performed over 3000 concerts around the world and released more than 60 recordings.

Tickets must be bought through our website: Please note that for our health and safety precautions, no tickets are available on the door. All events will take place in a Covid-secure environment. Please see for more details on the safety precautions in place.
