Like so many Landmarks, plenty of questions remain unanswered about the Music Room. It was built in about 1730 as a garden pavilion, probably for Oliver Marton, a prosperous lawyer of the Middle Temple, London.

Enjoy this rare chance to look around the lavish plastered interiors and afterwards perhaps enjoy a coffee break at The Music Room Coffee Shop below.

Free Admission to The Music Room and leaflets on the building’s history. Click here for location.

For further information please contact Booking Enquiries. The Booking Office is open Mon to Fri – 9am to 5.30pm.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no parking on site, however Lancaster has many public car parks. It is possible at this site to drive up and drop off those with limited mobility.
