The Old Post Office Cafe, Caton

Caton’s former Post Office is a light, welcoming cafe serving specialty coffee, hot chocolates, loose leaf teas, freshly made food to order and homemade cakes. With an emphasis on quality we use organic milk, flour and free range eggs and our local suppliers include Carvetii Coffee Roasters and bread from Lovingly Artisan.

We are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10am-3pm.

Option to eat in or take away with a south facing terrace for outdoor dining. We have an accessible entrance and cyclists, walkers and their dogs are all welcome.

The cafe is ideally situated in the heart of the village, adjacent to the Greenway off-road cycling and walking route linking Caton with Lancaster and only a short distance to the Crook o’ Lune beauty spot. Free and easy parking is available in the village which is only 3 miles from M6 (Junction 34) making it an ideal spot to break your car journey.
