White Cross Pub

The White Cross is situated in a refurbished cotton mill warehouse which was part of the old Storey’s Cotton Mill that was built next to Lancaster’s main canal. It offers a classic Sunday roast available from 12 until 9 pm with a choice of 3 roasts plus a vegetarian option. Wash your roast down with one of their many ales (up to 20 different rotating beers each week) all coming from breweries less than 40 miles away.

Toll House Inn

The building has come a long way since its early days as the site of the Corporation Toll House, which collected levies from traders on their way to the markets. Today, Toll House Inn is a cosy inn that provides warm hospitality to all who pass through the doors. Every Sunday enjoy a traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings at the Toll House Inn so dig in!


Bay Horse Inn

The award winning Bay Horse Inn offers delicious food inspired by Lancashire produce.  They offer a Sunday lunch menu were you can choose from a range of starters and mains including a Sunday roast option which consists of Roast Sirloin of dry aged Lancashire beef with roast potatoes, mashed potato, Yorkshire pudding & red wine gravy. Depending on how hungry you’re feeling pick from 2 courses for £22.50 or 3 courses for £26.50.


The Borough

 The Borough is a bustling pub, restaurant and hotel located in the centre of historic Lancaster, spread over three floors of a Georgian town house. Try their Sunday roast sharer but make sure you book early to avoided disappointment it’s super popular. The Sharer includes 12oz Strip Loin of Locally Reared Beef,  A Homemade Cottage Pie, Roast Potatoes cooked in Garlic, Rosemary and Butter, Cauliflower Cheese made with Grandma Singleton’s famous Lancashire Cheese, Fluffy Yorkshire Puddings, Caramelized Maple Carrots, Real Pan Juice Beef Gravy plus a bottle of House Red, White or Prosecco you really can’t beat it!

Merchants 1688

The Merchants 1688 is set in a 300 year old former wine Merchants cellar and the perfect environment to enjoy your Sunday roast. Everything is locally sourced to ensure the very best in taste and quality. Celebrate the Great British tradition and choose from 6 roasts with fish and vegetarian options, all served with roast potatoes, herb mashed potato and seasonal vegetables and cost £11.

Sun Hotel and Bar

For over 300 years, this beautiful Georgian building has offered fine drinks, food and rooms in the city centre.  The Sun work closely with the finest local suppliers with top quality produce so they can offer home-cooked food on each and every plate. Join them every Sunday 12-8pm for their roast dinners and their roast sharing platter. Upgrade your Sunday roast to the sharing board for two people with a sous vide picanha steak for just an extra £1 per person. Make sure you book as there is limited availability each week.


Quite Simply French

Quite Simply French is one of the Lancaster’s finest restaurants, a culinary destination where everything from the glassware to the charming staff to the meticulously crafted cuisine is selected with perfection in mind. Put on your Sunday best and treat yourself to Sunday Lunch served from 12-2pm where you can have 2 courses for £20.


The Brasserie

The Brasserie is the first part of our journey in transforming the Royal Kings Arms in Lancaster’s luxury boutique hotel. Open from 7am till late every day you will always find a warm welcome in our stunning new restaurant and bar. Join them on a Sunday for their fabulous Sunday roast depending on how hungry you are choose from 1 course for £9.95, 2 courses for £13.95 or 3 courses for £18.95.
