We spoke with owner Ian Bailey and here’s what he has to share.

How would you describe The Runners Centre in a line or two?
A customer-focused business. A place where everyone is welcome and offered exceptional levels of customer service.

What was the inspiration behind starting The Runners Centre?
After being a runner for over thirty years, I turned a passion into a business

What was The Runners Centre like in the early days?
No different really.  We’ve always offered the highest level of customer-focused service. The technology in assessing footwear and the technology in footwear has developed and we’ve continued to embrace it.

How has The Runners Centre evolved over the years?
Ignoring ‘fads’ and staying true to our beliefs. It would have been so easy to become an e-commerce monolith but it’s been of greater importance to offering face to face service.
