Historic cellar restaurant and bar set in a 300 year old former wine merchants just 1 minutes stroll from Lancaster Castle gates we pride ourselves in producing the finest in pub dining in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, complimented by our Cask Marque accredited real ales.

All our meals are freshly prepared on site using the best locally sourced ingredients, the meat coming from the fells and fields of Cumbria and Lancashire, and the fish delivered fresh from Fleetwood. We have taken the same care in selecting our wines from the new world, cask ales from Britains best local brewers and a great selection of craft beers.

We have a sunny courtyard garden with tables and umbrellas and live acoustic music from 10pm on most Saturday nights.
