The Manor Tea Room

The Manor Tea Room can be found just off the A6, two miles north of Lancaster, or a five-minute drive from J34 on the M6. It is set in the grounds of the Grade 2* listed Manor House built in 1681. Originally a laundry room serving the Lord and Lady of the Manor, it has been tastefully repurposed according to the rules for listed properties. On chillier days you will be welcomed by a roaring wood-burning fire and friendly service. On warmer days you may prefer to sit in the sheltered and heated courtyard, where dogs and muddy boots are most welcome.

Serving homemade soups and home-baked bread; a variety of hot and wholesome main courses; freshly prepared sandwiches and toasties; burgers and chips.

Also on offer is an extensive array of home-baked cakes and scones; cold drinks and ice cream; and teas and coffees from Lancaster’s finest coffee roasters, Atkinsons.
